I dreamed that I was dating someone who is not my current boyfriend, and I remember we were living in my parent's house for some reason. I walked into the bedroom and my partner (in the dream) said to me, "You're late." Somehow I knew that I was in danger, and so I apologized profusely to try and prevent what was going to happen. Then he said, "Now you're gonna get choked," and he put his hands around my neck. I remembered that my dad was right downstairs, so I started screaming for him to help me, which only made the person grip my neck tighter. My dad found him choking me and, instead of actually helping me, he instructed me how to fight him off. Somehow I did fight him off, and I decided I needed to leave. I packed my bags and found a knife that he had hidden under his pillow, and I used it to stab the mattress repeatedly. I then carved the words "Fuck You" into the pillow, stole the rest of the knives he had hidden, and then I woke up.

I'm sleeping and something or someone is trying to attack me in my sleep I'm trying to wake up but my eyes want open with a heavy weight on me and I can't move and when I wake up out of my sleep coughing and choking my heart pounding. It seems so real.
