Recent dreams containing trenching

I went to my ex-girlfriends house because I was asked to dig up a body that was buried in the swamp behind their house. When i got there, I saw a line through the mud where a body had been dragged into the swamp. I had this feeling that all of the neighbors knew what I was there for and were not happy that I was going to dig up this body. They wanted to hide it for some reason. Before I went to dig up the body I went inside and talked to my ex-girlfriends brother and Mom and asked them what they wanted me to do exactly. I wasn't sure if I just needed to find the body, or if i needed to retrieve it as well. They said i just needed to find the body. I ended up trenching through the mud with a shovel. I dug a little bit but never discovered the body. I ended up back in my ex-girlfriends house and I was hanging out with my ex looking at the stuff she had just bought from the mall. She was the only one in the dream who didn't seem mad at me.
