We ran up the stairs as fast as we could even though it felt as if I was moving in slow motion. When I reached the top floor I began to worry about my suitcases . Im not even sure what was in them. Somehow I managed to grab several bags that were mine and started throwing them out of the window one by one. I had to dive into the water and swim all the way to the first floor for a few of them. The lady was screaming at me saying that I needed to get out and not to worry about the suitcases but I felt like they needed to come out with me. Finally, I decided that I would leave the rest behind because it wasn’t worth risking my life to save every single suitcase. I swam out of the house and even abandoned the suitcases that I had already gotten out of the house. I just wanted to be safe again.
