My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years. I didn't get on with his parents for the first 2 years. However, the rest of his family really wanted to meet me. My boyfriend was really close to his grandmother, sadly just over a month ago she died from cancer. I only spoke to her a few times and regret not getting to know her properly.
