I was in a college course and we were watching a movie. I kept trying to find a new seat, and the class was very full. But it wasnt a real classroom, it was a more like a giant living room with recliners. I tripped on some students, but they didn't get angry. After the movie was over, I was going to leave, but one of the other students wanted to know if he could drive my car, I said yes. He left with my car and didn't come back. I was very upset, and tried to call him, to tell him I would call the police if he didn't come back. While i was upset, I kept feeling like there was something coming out of my butt, like a long string of hair. I couldn't get it out. Eventually, he came back with my car. I was very upset, but then he got very upset and showed me what he did to another student. He murdered another student and peeled the skin off of the students face with a cheese grater. I left very nervous, and was afraid because this murdering student knew where i lived. Later, I was at the teacher's house to warn her, and the murdering student showed up at her house dressed in drag as a maid. I tried to save the teacher, but then another murderer showed up and tried to get me. I pulled a knife from the teachers kitchen, and the the murderer tried to hit me with a hammer. I chopped him in the neck. My weapon turned into a large hook. I stuck the hook into the murderers neck, killing him. The murdering student had killed the teacher, but called the police, so it looked like I killed the teacher and the other murderer.

I'm at a friends house, preparing a small surprise party for another friend arriving from abroad (for some reason, I think they're coming from Poland). I'm grating cheese onto a plate when one of my friends starts using a hairdryer or fan and the grated cheese blows off the plate. We become angry with each other and then everyone in the room starts arguing (I think there's 5 of us). I leave by the back door. I'm in my local village and both sides of the road are lined with severely damaged cars, damaged by other cars driven by people who are infected (I think). I start noticing that the people around me are acting strange, like they're feral. A man walks up to me (not feral) and touches my arm, he's lost and confused. He sees a woman and says "It's you. you've done this". Then there is darkness. We have fallen and he's landed on top of me (I can feel my breasts pressed to his chest) but it doesn't feel sexual. Then I am looking through his eyes (this is interchangeable, sometimes I'm in my head, sometimes in his). Through him I talk to one of his ancestors who tells him they've been searching for him to save them. There is some kind of war going on. Still as him, I'm riding on top of a cart, I jump from it and land on a horse. I slit it's throat. I then flash back to my friends house and I'm in one of my friends heads. She is locked in a closet, feeling confused and acting like the feral people I saw earlier. Someone enters the room and she's scared. Now I'm back behind the mans eyes (I see him as a warrior). Then back to myself. We see each other and feel connected. The war is over. Back to myself in my friends kitchen. I've grated too much cheese and everything is back to normal, no-one remembers anything apart from me and I'm confused. I can remember and I know it happened. I get up and leave through the back door. I want to find the warrior. I wake up.

We are hugging, wrapped in each others arms, feeling safe, feeling whole. The energy is so passionate, so pure and so strong that it is nearly tangible. My eyes are closed and I'm pressed up against him, feeling his heart beat, the rise and fall of his chest, his strong arms around me; I melt into him. I focus, and feel - the feeling we've known before, that we've shared before. It is a complete high, physically, mentally, and emotionally. I feel our energy transfer, as if each cell has found its reciprocal messenger, has become fully charged, and begins to transform us into a unit, more powerful and strong than two separate entities. I am just taking in the moment, so content we have found each other again, so grateful that after all we've been through, after a horrible falling out, we could see past it and identify our true feelings. I hold on to him so tightly because I want this moment to last forever, I want to absorb it all. I hold him so close, afraid to let go- as if afraid that if we should disconnect physically, we will drift apart and will have to struggle to find our way back again. My head is tucked on his shoulder, he leans his head back so I readjust and my eyes meet his. He is silent for a moment as we just connect. Our eyes are bright, full of love and life. Finally, he breaks the silence and says 'Do you realize how much I love you?' almost with a hint of sadness knowing we had lost our way. With that simple phrase, although he doesn't verbalize it, there is a mutual understanding, a mental communication that he doesn't just mean 'I love you' but also that he has missed me, that he's genuinely sorry for the hurt we both felt. I squeeze him a little tighter as the corners of my mouth curl up and slowly reveal a familiar grin, wide and pure. I reply 'Well, you came back didn't you?' We hug each other even tighter and he whispers in my ear 'I never really left'.

“You know that place between sleeping and awake, that place where you can still remember dreaming? That's where I'll always think of you.” ― J.M. Barrie My name is Shannon. I'm a seventeen year old girl with a cognitive sleep disorder, who doesn't dream. I haven't had a real dream in ten years. When I go to sleep, my body and my brain shuts off, until it's either time to wake up, or pass between the realm of the sleeping, and the awake. In these ten years, when I slept I was plagued with nightmares, vivid nightmares beyond my control that stay with me, haunt me during the day. I'd see the figures in my nightmares everywhere, be it people, or unexplainable things. But today, when I slept, something happened: I was sleeping, yet awake and well aware, and while this was happening, I was dreaming. This dream has to be the most real thing that has ever happened. Let me tell you what happened: I was sitting outside of a lovely, slightly older house with a young man, he was a little older than I was, Maybe nineteen or twenty. It was dark, snow was falling to the ground, but it wasn't cold. We were talking, having a wonderful time; he was handsome; mid-length choclate colored hair that was combed back, though some of his hair had migrated infront of his face. He was wearing all black, not in the 'creepy gothic' way you would think. He was wearing a lovely leather coat, looked like he had traveled to london and back to get it, regular dress shoes, slacks, and a long-sleeve black top. I was different, much different. I was dressed in all white, though I couldn't tell exactly what I was wearing, we had on almost the same jacket: mine was white, cotton; and his, well I've already told you. I was wearing a white beret, and my hair was much different: it was long, almost down to my back and as blonde as a sun goddess; curled just slightly at the end; my glasses weren't black anymore, but a light baby blue. He smiled at me, took my hand and called me "Madaline." I responded! That wasn't my name but I responded as if I've had it for my whole life. This boy... He looked into my eyes and I could see through him, I could see into his soul. In an instant he turned, and pulled out a beautiful light blue and lime green stripped scarf, drapped it around my neck, and smiled once again. I beemed, I didn't know what to say, it was beautiful! gorgeous, even. He then took a small letter from his pocket, and handed it to me. It was a poem, entitled "My sweet Madaline."; I stopped, and looked at him, and proceeded to read: "My sweet Madaline, Though I will never be here in time, You are heaven to this tattered soul. You are a gift, that should be protected, And though we may be appart, in life: I can promise you, we will have our time, My sweet Madaline." Before I had a moment to respond, a little girl came out of the house behind us. She was about eight or so, with the same hair color hair as the young man. She looked at the scarf, then the note, and ran in side "Mommy, mommy! Why does she gets stuff and I don't!" she shouted, running inside. We both laughed. At that moment my eyes opened, my room was dark. It was about 11:00am; but when I closed my eyes, this.. dream... it continued. There was a court room, the young man was sitting in front with his lawyer, there was nobody on the stand. It seemed as though they were talking about a child that had died; Madaline. They had blamed the young man for it. The lawyer accusing him had found the poem. "My sweet Madaline" on his desk, to be honest, I don't know what was happening. I rushed into the court room, flinging open the doors and yelling "Stop!" Instantly all eyes were on me, the room fell silent as the young man looked back at me, and I knew, I just knew, he couldn't have done this. "That poem is about me! He wrote it about me!" I opened my eyes again, back to reality before turning to the otherside of my bed. Closing my eyes, I saw an older woman with two men standing on either side of her. She was holding a file, with one, small sheet of paper pulled out of it. "She's telling the truth." the woman said with a soft quiver in her voice. I saw the young man's face before my eyes opened for the final time. This is all I remember.
