My wife and I were living in the water, and were floating on a table like a kitchen table. Most of the time we were ok, but sometimes I had to help keep the table afloat. One time we floated into an area where in an area that we had almost no room above us to breath. It was like inside a pipe with grating over it in areas.

A laughing voice tells of a problems, and come to see there are holes rotten through the floor, while the carpet still covers. There's no way of telling where it is we'll fall to our doom. It's like a sadistic game, and we do what we can to find the bad spots. My mother, she points out something about the carpet beneath a chair in the dining room, and the carpet wears away to the touch, opening up a gaping hole to a fall that would most likely result in death. I woke with a start, terrified and finding it hard to breathe.
