I dreamt I was on the run. I had a black and white cat upon my shoulder. I ended up taking a chubby-ish girl with me who asked first to be paid. As we travelled, we encountered a shy robot girl who was wishing our wellbeing. I asked for her to come with us. We found a gigantic turtle - our destination - a wise old thing who was trapped in ropes. A hare was grumbling and yelling back to the turtle pinned underneath his shell. I cut the ropes away and then fastened myself beneath to the metal bars. The cat, I think, stayed on the top of the turtle, whilst I grabbed hold of the robot and the girl fastened herself in just above me.

Oh, the celebration could be heard as I enter the courtyard; people dancing in line, torch light blowing in a slight breeze. “Zsu!” Patrizia gathers me in her arms and draws me into the row of revelers. Joy! Dancing, laughing, and merriment! Excitement on the ground and ecstatic energy in the air! Various beautiful people feel the drink and gaiety. I stop exuberated by the tables of food, famished by the traveling. There is so much to eat ???adjusted to between the drumming, strings, long lines of people holding hands weaving in and out, and around! I can’t decide what not to choose to eat when a tall man stares down at me, smiling. “Hello.” I say. “Hello,” he says back. I grab some prsut, sausage, cheese, and reach for the honey when, “Not yet!” young Lydia grins and pulls me into the weave. Mr. Beautiful quietly reaches for my plate and when I return, I find him sitting licking his fingers. “I would like some more!” “Indeed, as would I!” Returning to the table, with candles, and plates of fruit, cheese, olives, he introduces himself, half shy half forward. “I am kin to Mirabella.” “Kristo, I know of you. You paint.” He puts prsut on her plate and reaches for a wine goblet, ignoring the wine. “Awkward silence,” he finally says. * The night sky lit up, vibrant and full of stars. The moon hung over a branch of her favorite tree when the first guests arrived. Carriages and horses began to align the drive. She left behind the idea that any hope in salvaging what remained of this “marriage” with Istven. Zsuzanna needed to return to her roots for inner guidance and the wisdom of (name of older woman mentor). Musicians played their pipes and strings, drumming set the pace of the dance. Zsuzanna stood gazing out over this Eden when someone grabbed her from behind to join in the line dance. Hoisting her skirts she forgot her woes, and partook in the merriment. Krsto was present. I saw that I was in an unknown place but I liked it immediately, because it was glittery and fun. THen suddenly my friend and I had to join a performance, but we were just side dancers. Then I saw that we were making a queue to worship our god. Then a friend that we had recently made said that she had to go somewhere and she left. Then because she didn't return we went looking for her. THen somehow my friend and I separated. Then somehow I reached this narrow hallway but it was a long one. They called it"hell". But it didn't look like one, because with all the clothes hanging it felt like a shop and there are many people there all strangers. They told me that they had been there for a very long time. Then as I was walking, a guy came from behind he was fully in black and tried to touch me I ran away from him, shouting. He ran behind me rapping anout dirty things. Then I stupid thing, I jumped from the hallway which was overlooking a rough land below. And then the guy pulled me back somehow, and I was so scared that I was hugging him, but he pushed me away from him. Then somehow an old lady came with three pendants and I chose the one with a heart. She told me that I was free. Then she took me to a gate behind the hallway it was really old. She told me to hide and go because they didnt free people in one day. I went through the gate and then I ended up in the school I used to study before and I was very happy there as I met my old friends.

It always started with a vibrant color red slowly fading into the background, like a backdrop of evil setting the scene. Around the edges and into the corners of my vision were black shadows, the darkest I had ever seen. I entered from the left, terrified beyond measure, yet determined to get what I came for; my grandparents’ release from Hell, from the bondage of Satan himself. Nana and Papo, my paternal grandparents, would enter from the right, distraught, resigned, yet, a bit hopeful. I ran to them, hugging and kissing them. I can still feel the way my grandfather’s solid middle felt against my skinny, half-grown arms. And then there was Satan. His voice boomed over us like thunder. My heart seized with panic and sank like a rock within me as terror washed over me like an ocean’s wave. For just a moment, the three of us huddled together, Nana, Papo and me. Then, after what felt like an eternity of being frozen in fear but seconds of being comforted by the warmth of their bodies, of their love, my voice found me. I freed myself from the entanglement of their arms and knew I had to do this on my own. I demanded their freedom. I asked that they be able to return with me to my home. While I do not remember the words that roared from the scoffing voice overhead, I remember that my request was denied. Nana and Papo had to stay in Hell. There was no question about it. Then, they turned and exited back from whence they had come, resigned, saddened but willing. I screamed. I screamed their names. I screamed in protest. I screamed because of the injustice. They did not belong there. They knew Jesus. And yet, it had not been enough. In that moment, He had not been enough. That’s when I would awake in a panic, crying, hardly able to breathe. Yet another thing was out of my control. Yet another injustice was being committed and I could do nothing. My voice was not being heard. My stomach was churning as was my heart.
