When I finally got to turn off the hose (when it still was pushing me even further away in the ocean) I was very scared and was trying to swim back. My friends were standing at the pier trying to help me.

I had a letter in my hand and someone took it from me and it sliced open my left ring finger open to where I can flip open the loose skin all around my finger to see the bones and muscles and tendons. I also had my left pointer finger cut open but only a cut. I then showed my dad the sliced left ring finger and he ripped it up. It was bleeding badly.
