He chased me until the sun came up, all the way to the beach, where the water looked gray, and a bit violent. It was a dead end, and I said, "Fine! I'll go with you! I was driving with my friend Monica to go hang out at my friend Dustin's house. We were driving at night and talking to him on the phone getting directions to his house.
