I was at a place like the mall at the riverwalk in san antonio- only it wasnt there exactly. Jennifer was going to come to one of my big italian family dinners with me for her birthday later in the day. And then I went down this escalator into the water which had a very strong current. I started swimming, not like a human but more like an otter or beaver. When I surfaced, the current was still strong but there were people around me. This tall blonde guy pulled me up onto his kickboard with him. He was funny and we started talking. His name was John Wayne. I stayed in the water with him for a really long time before realizing that I had to get out and get jennifer to get to dinner so we parted ways and even though I didnt think it was right because of matt, I gave him my number. It took me 4 tries to write it out right but it finally happened. I got out of the water and was at this weird insane asylum on a hill people were outside and stuff everywhere. I knew my car was in one of the parking lots and while I was going to try to find it, I checked two that looked like it but werent it, this crazy guy came and started tearing at my clothes I curled into the fetal position and then all of the sudden the pulling and tearing stopped and I looked up and it was John Wayne and he had protected me He helped me find my car and begged me not to leave but I had to. And before I went he kissed me. And I could really feel the kiss. It wasnt like any that Ive had in real life- which threw me off-- so when I got into my car, it instead was a ship set up. A land ship And I started trying to pilot my land ship, but the pillow I had to use as the steering wheel didnt have any rotation buttons. I started careening down the highway in this ship, not able to steer. A toll booth was coming up. I missed one collision and somehow dodged through the booth with my body weight as a directive force instead of the steering mechanism I found jennifer on a hill and started to walk down the hill with her towards where family dinner was going to be, leaves were falling all around. And my heart was breaking because of the thought of john wayne and knowing what impact meeting him had on me

I was in the car with my mother as she drove along a narrow road. On either side of the road were sheer cliffs, dropping off to the sea. I was at a huge school picnic to pick next years freshman class president i am currently a freshman all the other freshman were there too along with the eighth graders who were running for class president me and my best friend were on the swing set each swing was occupied she was telling me how kaleob the guy i like is re-dating his ex i pretended i knew this because the way she said it implied that i should have already known but i was hurt there was a tv propped high in a tree in everyone\'s view on the tv they were playing a slide show of the people running for class president and there escorts kaleob was escorting mia the most popular girl in eighth grade there picture came up and they looked so happy and it hurt even more kaleob then walked over standing a good distance from the swing set but he was in front of my swing i turned around so i was sitting on the swing facing away from him the swing had latches so you secure yourself in i only latched one side and began swinging my friend was facing forward the opposite direction of me i was swinging very high and i started telling my friend how i hated mia she responded by saying she wouldn\'t hate her just because she was dating kaleob i was also hurt because kaleob and i are good friends and didn\'t tell me was dating mia i swung even higher too high as i came back down i screamed a bit as i was swinging back again i fell out i rolled and hit kaleobs legs i apologized and laughed awkwardly he barely acknowledged me just looked back at me and half heartedly smiled i shouted to my friend that if i had secured myself in on both sides that would have never happened

He was in his regular clothes again.I saw across from us was his mum, sisters, and grandfather. They were all wearing black. Like they'd just gone to a funeral. His sisters had black mascara running down their faces.My friend went over and hugged them. His family just walked off the station like nothing had happened. Then his best friend showed up. They we interacting like he'd never passed. Skateboarding; joking around, etc. I went up to his friend and said "You know he's not really there right?" to which he said "I know but that doensn't mean we can't be happy for him." I woke up crying my eyes out. The dream was so real. It felt like I was really there.
