My father (who passed away 3 and a half years ago) was looking at books i have recently purchased and wanting to borrow a book, he asked me why i had argued with my mother (who i haven't spoken to for 3 years) and what was wrong with my eyes that they looked dark underneath,i hugged him, and he didn't hug me back ( he never did anyway as we weren't a huggy family).

It was Christmas with the Herzog side of the family. I had not gotten or wrapped my presents for Grandpa Al or my parents yet. While everybody else opened each other’s presents next to a tree, I had to get the presents for my parents and wrap them. When I came back everybody had finished opening their presents and the Herzog side of the family was about to leave in one hour. We were all disappointed that I was not able to be there with the rest of the Herzog family for the opening of the presents.
