My two daughters and a group of friends went swimming in the ocean. When they returned I noticed that my youngest daughter was not with them. When I asked where she was and didn't get an immediate response I said, "She's drowning! You have to go back for her!" They replied, "No, she's not. She's getting engaged!" Then my youngest daughter drove up with a young man, but instead of it being the man she is seeing now it was her ex- boyfriend . She came into the house and showed me her engagement ring, which was 14k gold, but with a very petite diamond set into a rosebud setting. I could tell she was disappointed in the ring, but I told her it was beautiful. She said I am going to get two diamond eternity bands to wear on either side of it, but I could tell she was still disappointed in it and very unsure about whether or not she should marry this man.
