In the dream I open my eyes and I look around. At first I forget where I am. And then I realize that I’m in my room. And I look over and I’m watching my grandma sleep. When I’m first watching she’s breathing, she’s kind of twitching like most people do in their sleep, and her oxygen mask is on correctly. Then the room grows darker, colder, and just eerie. Like something from a scary movie. And as I’m crossing the room to wake her up, I see she’s not breathing, she’s not moving, and her oxygen mask has moved from its proper placement. At first I don’t know what to do. I scream for help, but no one comes. So I start crying and shaking and halfway screaming to her to wake up. But nothing happens. She doesn’t wake up. As I’m sitting there just crying, she moves a little, like someone waking up from a coma, so I straighten up. Then she shoots up. And she just sits there for a few minutes. And I try to talk to her. She doesn’t respond. She just stares at the wall in front of her. Then out of nowhere she looks at me a starts babbling. And then she says to me, “It’s your fault. Why didn’t you wake me sooner! You could have saved me!”

A zombie apocalypse had taken place. My best friend and I had survived for years, and we took in anyone in need of help and treated them like family. I saw my best friend lying on the bed, moaning with blood coming from her nose and mouth, her skin looking a bit discolored. I (hesitantly) stuck a screwdriver through her head so she wouldn't have to suffer the mindless existence of being undead. I didn't realize it, but she was speaking fluent English. Although I stabbed her multiple time in an attempt the relinquish her from the hell the world was, she wouldn't pass. I then came to the realization that she wasn't a zombie, because she was speaking to me, telling me that things were going to be okay . She then fell silent and limb, and tears came from my eyes.

I'm in a gymnasium with an abundance of people all around my age. We are playing a tag-like game, running around trying not to get caught. I realize that the more times someone has kissed other players, the more protection s/he has in the game. I see my friend Levi. We look at each other and have an unsaid decision to kiss so that each of us will have more protection. We approach each other and are standing face to face. I assume it's going to be a quick peck on the lips. But it lasts longer than I thought it would, and our lips open, creating a suction that makes a roaring slurp-pop sound when I eventually pull my head away. I'm astonished at Levi's open willingness in this kiss. I look around and see that there are now only a couple of participants left in the game; they're still jetting around the gym.
