I am in a large, turn of the century house. I wander through it, looking for someone, but I can't remember who - or who owns the house. The dream is vivid. I can hear chickens, smell dust and mustiness in rarely used spaces, I can pick up and examine objects (many of which I remember from somewhere. These things are detailed, often personal, lovely but I can't remember who they belong to or if they might have been mine at that time somehow), I can feel the heat of the fire in the stove and delight at using the water pump in the summer kitchen. It all feels familiar as I search the house up to the attic and then down (very steep, narrow stairs to that attic!) When I get to the cellar door in the kitchen, I start to feel foreboding - but compelled to keep searching. As I go down the stairs to the cellar, I can identify the coal shed door, on old cast iron heater of some kind and another door. I look through the cellar, open the door to the coal shed and then approach the other door. It is identifiably different or out of place but I can't pin down exactly how it is different or what makes it out of place. I do "know" that I am strongly compelled to open it - and too terrified to. Extreme dread and foreboding when I reach for that doorknob usually wake me - sometimmes screaming. I have wakened my family peiodically through my life with this. I can't remember the first time I had the dream but I've had it throughout my life. It tends to leave me very nervous and unsettled, sometimes for days.

I have many dreams and scary dreams that I don't understand why I am having these dreams every night, I wake up screaming scare to move and when I do move I turn on all the lights in my apartment, I am 72 years old and I want to know why I am having these dreams and can I make them stop, in the beginning it was snake and large spiders and last night it was coming down my mirror a long object with spiders all around, I have seen my young grandson go under my bed and I saw his hand trying to reach for me.....I have seen spiders in my overhead ceiling light, my heart always pounds hard and I get so scare at times that I can not move this has been going on for months...…. I have spoke to my Family doctor and she said that it was "Twilight" why doesn't it stop, I am so worn out to the point of being sick. I had a dream that my grandmother and I went to a past world where my father and uncle were still children and met them. At the end, we had to go back to our own time and were saying our goodbyes. When my father said goodbye to my grandmother, he said "It's funny, you came here to have what you once had but you're forgetting what you have now" and looked at me. And when he said goodbye to me, as we were both crying, he hugged me and said "i can't wait to hold you in my arms for the first time all over again" and I woke up crying. I dreamt I was at my married boyfriend 's home and his wife walked in and I was scared but she came to me and gave me a hug and went about doing her own thing in the house. My boyfriend went to her trying to speak to her but she was very annoyed with him. I wanted to leave but for some reason I was still there. What gets me is that each time in the dream I tell him that she's about to catch us he doesn't flinch.

I was all alone at a themepark in another close country, but then I got lost and couldn't get back home before the time on my ticket ran out. I didn't have any money so I wandered around and then found a school, it was night time and there were people there. I didn't know anyone but they spoke the same language as me. My husband was led naked outside my parents house,it was night time. he never met them as they passed away years ago. I tried to pick him up, then he disappeared. I Walked up the path to an alley way which led to a cul de sac where my parents back garden was.
