This dream took place with me and two others in a car driving some place. We were having car problems, so we pulled into a parking area and got out to see what we could do to fix teh car. My grand dog was with us and a bit antsy, so I took him out on his leash and tried to find a place to tie him up to, so he wouldn't run away. At that point, one of my travel buddies, (whom I don't know in real life), came up to me and whispered, "don't look now, but it's the police!" I turned and sure enough, a police officer was coming our way. I realized there was a bunch of them going to their cars, parked a bit away from us in the lot, though we didn't notice them earlier. No lights going, it was as if they were all coming out of a restaurant or something. He came up to me and asked if he could help. Now, we didn't have the hood of the car opened or anything, so it did just look like we were parking--no car issues. So, I just told him the dog needed a break and I was looking to tie him up somewhere while we stretched our legs. (why we didn't walk the dog I don't know??) He helped me to tie him up at a pole, and the dog could look over the railing to see water below. It was like a river, the ocean, or something.

I dreamed that it was snowing and cold, and that I was supposed to go to this place that I lived for a while earlier this year (an emergency shelter for youth) but instead of going I decided to go to my ex- boyfriend 's house. We had still been dating while I had been living there in real life, and he lived very close by. I used to look out my window and wish I was with him. Anyway, I walked up to his front door, and he opened it before I even knocked or rang a bell. He was standing there with a girl - his new girlfriend , and she was nice and pretty. I was very polite and just said I had no where else to go (I knew I was lying), and he said I could come inside and go read some Vonnegut (I have a Vonnegut book that he gave me, but I had also been talking about those books earlier that day) at his kitchen table. Anyway, I thought his dog had died but he said the dog was still alive. I sat down in the doorway and the dog hopped onto my lap and licked me and I petted the dog. I could tell my ex was smiling at me, happy to see me smiling. I went inside and sat at the table and started reading the books. I could tell his father was in the living room watching TV but I couldn't see him and I didn't go and say hello. The books were very strange. I started reading them all but then I settled on one, and in it it was like a video game. People were in these tunnels and to get out you had to find which people were telling the truth so that you could find the surface. I finally did and came to the top.

I was back in my home town and I was driving my grandmother and aunt who are BOTH deceased around in a car. Kinda like that weird Sopranos episode. Also, earlier that day my cousin who has turned his back on our family years ago was at the house where we all gathered for a family function, just like he use to when he was a part of the family. And he looked like he looked when he was a part of the family, which is a different than what he looks like now. This dream was VERY vivid and it felt so real. Usually I can tell when I'm dreaming. Not this time. My family is very close knit and we usually get together for the holidays and that's what this one day with my aunt, grandmother and cousin felt like.

The dream begins in a new empty house my parents are about to move in to. As I look around, I walk into an open closet and on the floor is a black-crystal crucifix necklace with a silver chain. The necklace is beautiful and I assume the person/persons that lived there before must have left it behind. I put it on. I'm then in school, the class is letting out. Standing in the crowded hall are two male detectives talking to my professor when he points in my direction. The two detectives come toward me, they ask about my necklace and how I've come to find it. I tell them, explaining I'd found it in my parent's new home. They then show me a picture. The picture is of a young woman who looks almost identical to me, only her hair is lighter and she is a little thinner, also, she is wearing the necklace. One of the detectives tell me that she has been missing and if I have any clues as to her whereabouts to come forward. I of course say yes, but get the feeling that they think I might be involved. Later that night, I'm in my dorm. I hear my name being called and curiously, I investigate. As I'm walking down the long hall, the large windows of the dormitory reflect not me, but the girl from the photo. I am incredibly freaked out, but retain a calm composure. The voice eventually leads me into the girl's restroom. And there, standing beside the bathroom stall is the girl from the photo. I tell her about the detectives looking for her earlier and that she needed to come forth because they think I had something to do with it. We have an exchange and out of frustration, I end up yelling at the girl. She smiles and pushes me back saying: “I want you to know, you're talking to yourself.” And standing there alone in the bathroom staring into the mirror above the sink is only me. I scream, running down the halls of this dormitory. As I'm running I can still see that girl being my reflection in the windows. As this is happening, I can also hear indistinct chatter of multiple voices running together. I then fall to the floor holding my ears sobbing. I look up at the door to the supposed dormitory in front of me that reads: WARD. I then realize that I am not in college, that what I'm in isn't a dormitory at all, it's a mental institution. I have never been in college, nor have I ever been institutionalized.

In my dream, I had come out of a day-dream a group of people wearing the same uniform as me we were in some type of city or town and in the distance I notice an explosion in a church/cathedral were ordered to go inside and rescue civilians. As people are running out of the building I take point and head in to the building first. The building was hot, filled with smoke and had badly scorched walls I begin weaken and loss my breath the group I was with is no longer behind me. I then noticed people drape in white and fall unconscious. I reawaken only fine that I have been tied to a stone table and was surrounded by the people draped in white and the group I was with earlier. They begin to chant and set me on fire the pain was so real that I had awakened
