The Apocalypse begins when all major banks fail. However there's a small group of enlightened, aware people that have seen this coming and made preparations. They had taken their money out of the banks and into smaller unions which remain unfazed by the destructing . When the when the global financial system crumbles, this causes chaos and pandemonium on earth, however it's just a distraction. While the majority of people are crippled by the events, the astute observer notices amidst the chaos, there are strong, unusually focused characters of superhuman strength training in the rubble. An uprising led by an evil force is beginning and they are training for war . The enlightened ones take heed of this and band together to form an alliance against this evil that is brewing. They begin their training, as well, based on teachings and predictions found in a book called Terra Firma and this is what the second group calls themselves.

I am at my friend Betty's house. I call Ann up to make an appointment to get my hair highlighted. I speak to the receptionist at the beauty parlor. I speak in a Russian accent. She asks when I can come. I say in a couple of days. I think that might be Wednesday. She asks 'Are you sure because we are changing things around here; implying that it won't be good if I change my mind and cancel the appointment. After speaking to her, I realize that I don't need to have my hair highlighted yet, because my hair hasn't grown out yet. But George and I go on the 'A' train to the beauty parlor. It goes through a neighborhood that I have never seen before. The train travels outside. George gets out at a stop as if he nonchalantly is doing something. The train leaves without him. I wave to him and feel bad that he is not on the train

Guy I haven't seen or talked to in 5 years gets out of rehab I go to his suprise party on the beach all is fine then were at an out door mall or busy place and he goes on a shooting spree, my best friend and I get plot up I'm running and he shoots me in the shoulder, I play dead for awhile then get up and run only to see him surrounded by men with machine guns and I yell for them not to kill him and he looks me directly in the eyes and they shoot, I see bullets going in every part of him, I cry and cry. Then it changes to another day and I haven't seen my best friend since we got split up I call her cell and her mom answers and says Rosie can't talk right now and I'm crying saying I need to know if she's okay hermom says no she's dead. I then wake up crying.
