Sleep is a naturally recurring state characterized by reduced or absent consciousness, relatively suspended sensory activity, and inactivity of nearly all voluntary muscles.[1] It is distinguished from quiet wakefulness by a decreased ability to react to stimuli, and is more easily reversible than being in hibernation or a coma. Sleep is a heightened anabolic state, accentuating the growth and rejuvenation of the immune, nervous, skeletal and muscular systems. It is observed in all mammals, all birds, and many reptiles, amphibians, and fish.

My dream was a version of Frankenstein we watched during class the previous day. I dreamt of the madness of Victor Frakenstein and his accomplice Professor Krempe. During their studies of the creation of the monster, an Ape arm was used to test the ability of reanimation and electricity (impulses). For whatever reason the Professor decided that it was a good idea to slip the arm of the ape onto his own arm. Unfortunatly, the arm started taking over the Professors body, he was turning into a blood thirsty ape killer. It was Victors task to kill the professor. Using a knife he threw it straight at the professor/ape into his heart. The Professor slid down a brick wall, pulled the knife out of his heart. He then proceeded to pry open the hole the knife was in and started pulling out his entrails, and naming them as he went along, Pericardial sac, amniotic fluid and placenta.

My dream is to become a G.P (doctor), and help pepole in need. I told my parents about it and they are very happy to know about my aim in life, but they reminded me that I will have to go through many stages of learning and experimenting the human body and may see very unpleasant things. But I know if I achieve that successfully, I will have a brighter future. To fulfil my dream, I know I will have to work extremely hard. I need to achieve good marks in English, Maths and most importantly, Science. These three subjects are important to become a doctor but I need to focus mostly on science since science is the main criteria for a GP and the reason why English is needed is because I need to also consult my patients to make them understand what problems they have and to have a positive attitude. Following is a list of things I need to have to become a doctor:•A strong desire to become a medical doctor.•Be prepared to do formal studies of 6 years or longer.•Must have Love and respect for human beings (patients and their relatives).•Have respect for life.•A keen interest in the structure and functioning of the human body.•The ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.•The ability to work for long hours continuously. If my dream of a doctor doesn’t work out, I have two backup plans, and they are either being a lawyer or a teacher.By Probha
