I see that there are what looks like embedded red vines around all of my joints. i have bruises all over my body. i go to pull the roots out of my face and my Mom walks in. I had an itch on my leg above the knee. I scratched it and began to realize that there was dead skin or tape or something layered and flaking off of the top of my leg. I began to pick at it until there was a small hole in my leg where a tuft of gauze poked out. I began to pull the gauze out until the entire lower half of my leg, from the knee down, was hollow and detached like a paper-mache false boot. Nothing hurt or was painful but I now no longer had a working lower left leg and was immobilized.
