I was in my childhood home and there was a small injured dog who was swollen to the point he was oval and legs couldn't be used. He rolled himself to get around and rolled himself down a few steps before smashing into some items accidentally. Then I saw some snakes. They were injured and deformed. The snakes were in almost a coiled up position but melded together like that and also with puncture wounds. That's how the snake learned to slither to get around. Albino snake.

I was in school. College perhaps, because I recall being able to call the teacher "professor." I think, even, that the teacher in question was one of my teachers from college. Liz, we called her. Her first name was Elizabeth. I can't even remember what her formal 'teacher name' would be. She was always just Liz. My class and I had a project to do.
