My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years. I didn't get on with his parents for the first 2 years. However, the rest of his family really wanted to meet me. My boyfriend was really close to his grandmother, sadly just over a month ago she died from cancer. I only spoke to her a few times and regret not getting to know her properly. Recently I had a dream about my boyfriend receiving a phone call from his grandmother, knowing that she had died. Later in this dream he called her back and had a conversation with her. I didn't hear what the conversation was about but he told me that during the first phone call, his grandmother told him that she has had trouble sleeping since she has been "gone" because she misses him so much. Also at the beginning of the dream, I had been walking down some stairs with my boyfriend s family.. And it felt as if his grandmother was walking behind me and she put her hand on my back to stop me from falling. The stairs are also where my boyfriend went to sit while on the phone with his grandmother. This part of the dream is very vague.

I am with friends from my high school, I can recall 3 names, my sister is also there. They are hungry and I am cooking something familiar but in a different way. Someone insists that I put the rice in but I am not ready. Someone takes the rice to me saying that it is ready to be added to the pot.
