Finding a golden ring sapphire

I dreamed that I had a blue sapphire attached to the top of my head. Then I was watching television and I saw a cat that had an identical one attached to his butt. I then pulled the stone off of my head and I had a huge open hole in my head that looked gross & bloody inside. I woke feeling a little sick and grossed out. What did this dream mean? I have lots of crazy dreams but never like this. Thanks, Lisa
