Dream of child

I am a child, sent to my room on a warm sunny afternoon by my mum for being naughty. I am in my room looking out of the window into the garden below where my family are. I hear something trying my bedroom door trying to get in. I am terrified, I try calling to my parents but nothing comes out and I know they cannot hear me. This is a recurring dream.
