Dream of snake

I was standing on the bank of a stream. A snake with fur instead of scales and the head of a cat emerged from the water. The cat-snake was wearing a fez. I wanted me to pet it. When I did, it purred. I realized that if I stopped petting it, that it would bite. I jerked my hand away just in time to avoid being bitter.
