I was desperately looking for a job, seeing as I had recently left my previous one, and I heard that the local Pizza Hut (in Winter Park, Florida (where I resided)) was hiring. I walked inside and asked one of the associates to direct me to the manager. He said, “Yeah, sure. Mr. Reznor is outside in the apartment next door.” I thought to myself, “Reznor... That name sounds familiar...” I went outside and saw THE Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails standing on top of his apartment with one of those pirate telescope apparatuses. I knocked on his apartment door and without even saying anything, he told me, “You’re hired.”
