Dream of children, died, woke up
I dreamed that I got shot in the back and I was going to different places saying goodbye and leaving instructions for certain actions. I saw myself going in and out of conscienceless and speaking with each of my children. Then I leaned into something and said it was time. I then died. I woke up right away upon seeing myself die.

Meaning of woke up in a dream
When you wake up you actually see the life as they are, you are no longer closed in your concept. To wake up from the dream, you are really accepting and knowing who you are.
