I keep having this dream where i come out of my bedroom in the middle of the night and there is a child ghost at the top of the stairs and i go to scream and run but i cant move

This is a recurring dream for many years. I dream I am alone or with my two children at the house where I grew up as a child. The main focus and my main responsibility of the dream is to always lock the gate outside the yard before it turns night. Sometimes during the dream, I will look through the window in the night to make sure it is locked. In the last dream, I did not lock the gate, if seems it was not urgent or I forgot or got distracted. When I came outside my car was stollen. I went to the gate to close and lock it but I struggled because it seems the lock was broken. I eventually got it locked with much struggle.

They weren’t responding so I screamed “ A man threw petrol on the pole and it’s now alight, you’d better come out now or it’s going to get you!”
