Meaning of mom in a dream

Mother Dream Meaning sychological Meaning: The mother may symbolise the unconscious intuitive side of yourself. However, the mother symbol can take both positive or negative forms. She may appear as a kindly mother, grandmother or aunt or as a place such as a cave, church or garden. These images may represent the qualities of solicitude, growth, nourishment and fertility. The negative mother symbol may appear as a witch or a dragon and represents dark destructive tendencies that devours, seduces or poisons. Some people have problems freeing themselves from mother-attachment. This prevents the development of their individuality and inner self-dependence. Mystical Meaning: Most mystical traditions have the symbol of the Mother written into their legends and myths. At her most exalted she is the divine Great Mother at her most frightening she is the gorgon Medusa or the Sumerian goddess Lilith. Freud believed that the Greek myths of Oedipus and Electra symbolised psychological conditions. In the story Oedipus killed his farther and married his mother. Freud claimed that this represented a boy’s incestuous desire for his mother and jealousy towards his father. Similarly Electra desired her father and was jealous of her mother. A girl may therefore unconsciously believe that she has been castrated by her mother and is now an incomplete male. According to Freud this gives rise to ‘penis-envy’, which is one of the root causes of women’s feelings of inferiority.

A silhouette is essentially a shape without detail, so in dreams it often symbolizes uncertainty, mystery, or partial awareness. Here are some common interpretations: Unclear situation or person: A silhouette may represent someone or something in your life that you sense but don’t fully understand yet—motives, identity, or intentions may feel hidden. Uncertainty about the future: It can reflect not having a clear direction or plan, especially if you're at a decision point or transition. Hidden aspects of yourself: Sometimes a silhouette represents parts of your personality, emotions, or desires that you haven't fully recognized or expressed. Fear of the unknown: If the silhouette felt threatening, it may symbolize anxiety about what you cannot see or predict. Emerging awareness: A silhouette can also suggest that something is beginning to take shape in your life, but it hasn’t fully formed yet—like an idea, relationship, or opportunity. Common dream scenarios A dark silhouette of a person: May represent someone whose intentions are unclear or a relationship with missing clarity. Your own silhouette: Can symbolize self-discovery or feeling disconnected from your identity. A moving silhouette: Often suggests uncertainty about where a situation is heading. A silhouette watching you: May reflect feelings of being observed, judged, or influenced by something you don’t fully understand. A silhouette turning into a clear figure: This can symbolize gaining insight, truth becoming clearer, or confusion resolving. From a psychological perspective In psychology-based interpretations, silhouettes often represent the “unknown unconscious”—thoughts or emotions that are not fully conscious yet but are influencing you. It can also reflect ambiguity in decision-making or incomplete information. A representation of spiritual awareness that is still developing. These are symbolic beliefs rather than proven meanings.

I walk into an area where there were persons that am familiar with, my church brethren. then the space looks like a room. my husband that is passed was lying on the bed. Suddenly, i saw a very large green lizard, like an iguana beside my husbands body and it was not perturbed that people was very noisy around. the weird thing is that even though i knew that my husband was lying on the bed, i could not see his body silhouette. it was just a clump under a sheet with the lizard behaving as though it owns the clump . On a near by night table there was another large green lizard but it wraps itself around like a snake lying on the table and i saw what looks like a baby green lizard with a slender body which looks like the body of a snake and also with a head that looks like a snake. they too were just lying there and were not perturbed in the least, evev with the noise. in my mind, my husband is alive and as much as i am shouting telling him that there was a lizard beside him, he was not responding.

I was at what i precieved to be my bosses house, I was standing at the front door, in my hands was a manilla envelope with top secrete on the cover. I knocked on the door. He opened it up and I said I have these from the office. He said thank you. Took the file and sat it down. He invited me inside. When I entered the living room was dark. To my left was a 3 computer screens on a desk. To the right was a wall with boxes stacked up. I asked him I thought you lived on county rd 200? He said that he did. That his wife was sick and passed away and he couldn't stand living there. So he left and sold the house. Alittle past the living room there was a Dutch door the top half open. This was the only light source in the dream. He walked to this door looking outside. The rays of sun on his face and he took a deep breath and exhaled. At that moment 2 snow leopards jumped on that Dutch door and leaped on him. At first I was stunned but I could clearly see they loved him and he loved them. Then I woke up.
