Dream of snake

I dreamed that I heard a rattle snake and it was beside me. I knew it was going to attack and I couldn't remember how to defend myself so I stayed still in confusion and the next thing I knew it had its mouth wrapped around the top of my head and it pulled my body in half so that my torso was ripped apart and I was left in two halves.
