I was dreaming tat I saw a few maggots on the bed. I told my mom the I went back to look again an when I bent over more were there. I put my hands in my hair and realized that I had a ton of them falling out. then I woke up.

A girl may therefore unconsciously believe that she has been castrated by her mother and is now an incomplete male. According to Freud this gives rise to ‘penis-envy’, which is one of the root causes of women’s feelings of inferiority.
