Dream of

I was living in a colony as a creature. We were confined to the structure we lived in except when we raced in a forest area. One day we got blasted off the face of the planet. When we looked back on the planet, we realized there was no bear. The bear was what the colony was afraid of, and that is why we didn't go outside.
