In my dream i was approached by an asian man who took keys from my hand.When i proceeded to take them back he took out a gun and shot me in the chest and shoulder.I woke up there after.

We are all familiar with the situation called "dream". We sleep, we are in a kind of unconsciousness, disconnected from the reality around us. However, while we are "in" within the dream, we feel it as a real reality, and experience a great many emotions, thoughts and situations.
