I gave my mother some clothes, brown blouse decorated with orange flowers and brown pants. She was happy. But my younger sister walked in and I saw her eyes welling with tears because I had not bought anything for her. Then I told my mom about my challenges in life and she said that is nothing, she could actually buy me a car. Then I saw a renault sedan for me.

According to Freud this gives rise to ‘penis-envy’, which is one of the root causes of women’s feelings of inferiority.
