Dream of father

I had a dream, I saw my crush standing at a table and i walked over. I said hi to him, he didn't reply. He was talking to someone else. His father was sitting at the other side of table facing him. I repeatedly tried to get his attention, but his attention was toward another girl next to him. His father spoke and said; "Ask her." with a smile. He pulled out a ring and said something but i couldn't hear it. Then the dream ended.
