Dream of hands, puppies

In the garden of my old house is a box of abandoned puppies, new born. They are frail and weak. A stanger (handsome male, in the dream I feel as though i really like him, he is caring) is with me when I find the puppies. We take the puppies indoors, I carry one in the palm of my hands. I look around the house for things that are needed to take care of them. While looking I see a rat with its flesh and blood hanging out, feel disgusted.
