Dream of mother

I had a dream that my friend was being beaten up by her recently ex partner, (they broke up a few days ago) and in the dream he was really beating on her i tried to stop him myself and failed so i went to get my mother to help and she couldn't stop him either so i called the police and they came with police dogs and managed to stop and arrest him. My friend had to go to hospital because of the severity of the violence.
