Dream of eyes

There was an old teacher whose teachings needed protection. I watched through the eyes of a young monk, feeling his love for the teacher and the attempt. There was a group of devotes on the beach. The waves came up and up. They froze because it was cold. The teachings were protected. But the monk didn't do as much as he wanted because others loved the old teacher as well.
