Dream of father

I am running on the outside of a tall, iron rail. I am running towards a gate. There is a sensation that freedom will come if I reach my destination. Half way through running, my legs buckle, it becomes more difficult to run, and I slow down. I turn around and my father is walking towards me from behind. I then wake up in a state of panic and terror.
