Dream of person, biting

I was in a room with two cats; one small and gray, the other fat and white. The white cat cat was attacking me with an awful look on it's face, while the small gray cat stood to the side watching with an almost scared look on it's face. The cat began biting my finger and wouldn't let it go. My finger began bleeding as I tried to pry the cat off of me. I finally started hitting the cat until i killed it. when i pulled my finger out of the cat's mouth it was full of blood and bite marks straight through. I'm not a cat person by any means nor have i seen these two cats before. I'm just looking for a meaning to this dream.
