Dream of hands

Japanese death ritual. A man hangs his sick, disobedient daughter by her feet in the sun to die. Her head is covered and she is bound by net but her hands and arms are free to the elbow. She is beaten before and after she dies. Once dead and dried her head is removed and put on a plate with her hip bones which are a delicacy and its only legally allowed to be eaten when the head is present.
