Dream of chased, girlfriend

There was a shooter going around town and my girlfriend and her ex-best friend were being chased of were stranded somewhere. I went to a hunting store to get a rifle to rescue you and while I was there I got a picture message of my girlfriend , dead, with blood all over her face saying "too late". At that point I was panicking and all I could think about was wanting to hold her one last time.
